Compensation ranges are found in the drop-down of Personnel tab under the Value tab of an Idea. They define the range of the annual salary of the Personnel positions.

Each Workspace starts with these default ranges

Up to $30k

$30-45k

$45-60k

$60-$80k

$80-$100k

$100-$125k

$125-$150

$150k-$175k

$175k-$200k

$200-$250k

$250k+

To customize the Compensation Range according to your needs:

As an Admin - On any screen in AGREED software

Step 1: Select the drop-down arrow in the upper right corner of the software.

Step 2: Select Admin Settings.

Step 3: Select Edit Compensation Range to customize the Personnel's annual salary range.

You will see three columns: Type, Value/s, Calculation Value

Type
- The range starts with Up to $(value) (example Up to $30,000)
  - The calculation value should be ≤ than the range value.
- Then some Range Values (example $60,000 -$80,000)
- And ends in $(value)+ (example $250k+)
  The calculation value should be ≥ than the range value.
Value/s - this is where the range of values will be added according to the type of the range.
Input the minimum and the maximum value of the range.
Calculation Value - The system will calculate the midpoint of the range.
Notice: This Column is not editable.

First, you will see the default range which is not editable. To make changes to either one of them:

Step 4: Check the box in the upper right corner of the table where it says Use custom range values?

Step 5: Select Yes to switch to the Custom range.

The table will become active

Step 6: Edit the values of the current range or add new ranges.
